The Plastic Industry pushes back NYT Magazine Review 2024/12/01

This article is about some influencers trying to promote PET Plastics, a 100% recyclable material. PET stands for polyethylene terephthalate, the plastic used to make single-use soda bottles and clamshell containers. The National Association for PET Container Resources, or NAPCOR, worked deliberately to make more of this plastic.

I enjoyed this magazine because it reminded me of a class I took that did MUN presentations, where we also mentioned climate change (global warming, is it the same thing?) Anyway, I hope that there will be more influencers to influence others to use items to prevent global warming.

Please note that this image is not in the magazine but is used as an exaggeration of trash piles

LET'S ALL WORK TOGETHER TO STOP GLOBAL WARMING!!!!

Also happy December! Christmas is near!
