Extreme Biology
This book is about biology and all that matters within the subject. It tells us about DNA, MRI, and Genes. It introduces the diagram of our body, our DNA, and what 2% difference from a human’s DNA results in a chimpanzee. It includes medicine, bugs, and harmful diseases that can be controlled to do some good by changing their DNA, by cutting in with a scissor.
I felt curious when I picked up this book, because my dream recently changed from being a scientist to a biochemist. I feel like their is so much more about DNA than it just being the base of our body’s features. I think that the DNA does so, so much more, and we have to do more complex experiments to chop DNA, rather than just getting a 5-year old to just snap it in half. However, I have a question. What are DNA made of on a cellular level?
